Job Summary

Alecto Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of several engineering contractors which serve the construction and quarrying industries in the east and west midlands.

We are keen to hear from experienced Heavy Plant Mechanics and Fitters interested in discussing what they have to offer.

We can offer permanent opportunities with salaries ranging from �40,000 - �55,000 and opportunities for self employed work. This also includes opportunities ranging from static/workshop fitter opportunities to mobile/site based field service engineering.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Workshop repair and fitting heavy plant machinery and equipment
• Field service engineering - Site based repair and maintenance of heavy plant machinery and quarrying equipment
• Full time employed and self employed opportunities available

Qualifications and Skills

• We are looking for hands on experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant and quarrying machinery, for example
  • Heavy plant - diggers, dumpers, excavators, loading shovels, 360s, tracked vehicles
  • Quarrying - trommels, crushers, screeners, loading shovels etc
• We have opportunities for full time employed and self employed available
• Fabrication and welding experience is a plus
• UK Full driving licence essential

This role will be suitable if you are a Plant Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, Workshop Fitter, Plant Engineer, Quarry Mechanic, Quarry Fitter.
