About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, overhauling, repairing, modifying, and maintaining a variety of heavy mobile and automotive vehicles and equipment. You will tackle complex issues, perform thorough inspections, and use your expertise to ensure all machinery operates at peak performance. You will work 39 hours per week, from 7.30am – 4pm. Your start and end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with the organisation’s flexible working policies.

About you:
Our ideal Heavy Vehicle Mechanic will be driven and a detail-oriented professional with a knack for mechanical systems and a passion for excellence. You will bring knowledge of heavy mobile equipment and automotive vehicles, and you can interpret repair manuals and safety guides. You should have effective communication skills with the capability to train others. Relevant UK Certification, such as a Level 3 National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or Level 3 National Diploma, or equivalent, is required, along with a valid Category B driver’s licence. You must be willing to undergo a pre-employment physical.
