In this key role, you’ll be responsible for driving the UK brand growth for one of the company’s priority brands, using your skills, intellect and consumer & market insight to build the annual brand and drive best-in-class, 360 degree integrated comms campaigns. It is committed to best practice and offers a generous benefits package with a commitment to helping its employees have a healthy work-life balance throughout their career with the company.Key Responsibilities:Clear strategic planning - adapting and implementing comprehensive brand strategies that align with overall global business objectives and market trends.Driving brand performance and owning in-market activation for the UK while driving the long-term brand strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, and external agencies.Delivering effective annual operational marketing plans using customer and market insight to maximise the brand’s short, medium and long- term objectives.Leading the planning and execution of new product launches, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, identifying emerging trends and opportunities to drive brand growth and differentiation.Defining and monitoring performance data – sales, market share, digital and innovation KPIs to accelerate business success.Conducting in-depth insight and market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market opportunities, and competitive landscape.Acting as brand champion, sharing learnings and successes with local and global teams, monitoring and influencing sales performance, market share, digital and innovation KPIs to accelerate business growth.Developing highly-effective, integrated comms campaigns, building strategic partnerships with key agencies to drive best-in-class, 360-degree activity that engages consumers and builds brand equity and trust.Leading high priority strategic projects to drive brand growth, working in conjunction with global teams and senior leadership.Managing brand budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking ROI on marketing activities.Ensuring all brand activities comply with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines.Skills & Experience ChecklistA global #3 in consumer health, our client is looking to raise the bar in terms of our strategic and operational capabilities to drive sustainable, market-beating growth. We’re looking for exceptional marketing talent and someone who will share the company’s core values of courage, teamwork, respect and integrity.Commercial savvy, curiosity, brand passion and a classic training in a leading FMCG or OTC Healthcare environment, working at a local or regional/global level at BM or SBM level.Broad exposure across the mix with a strong track record of shaping brand plans & operational marketing as well as leading innovation projects rooted in consumer, shopper & market data.Strong integrated and digital comms experience working with major consumer brands.Real commercial acumen with a clear understanding of business & market dynamics, retail customers and awareness of current/future market trends.Proven ability to lead complex product category project teams, liaising with regional and global marketing, regulatory and R&D teams.Experience in effective cross-functional engagement with e.g. Sales, Consumer Insight, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, etc.Proven ability to influence management stakeholders and peers, synthesise amounts of data to support business decisions and clearly articulate them in meetings and presentations.If you are excited by this challenge, talk to us now.
