HGV 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver - Droitwich
We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on an Temp On-going basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Droitwich Depot. Whether you are after 2 to 5 shifts per week. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to NDC’s and RDC’S, Trunking work and shop deliveries also. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.
Immediate starts after successful assessment.
Start Time:
Between 22:00 - 02:00
Day pay rates:
Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
Saturday £17.85
Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80
Nights pay rates:
Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
Saturday £20.39
Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
Prepping vehicles for delivery.
Completing vehicles checks.
Refueling vehicles.
Multi drop deliveries.
The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
Excellent Communication skills.
UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
