Hgv 1 Driver

ONEDP is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client in Southampton. We offer reliable, long-term opportunities with roles focused on general haulage, ensuring both variety and job security.

Rates:

• Days - PAYE


• Monday to Friday��- �15.00


• Saturday - �16.00


• Sunday �17.50�

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily vehicle checks according to company procedures to ensure roadworthiness.


• Report vehicle defects promptly in line with company procedures.


• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.


• Report any customer complaints to the Transport team.


• Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.


• Secure freight for transit and ensure vehicles are not overloaded.


• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.

Skills and Expertise:

• Valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence.


• A minimum of 2 years of experience.


• Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card).


• Digital Tachograph card.


• No more than 6 points on your licence.
