HGV 1 Driver

Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to work with our customer based in Coupar Angus. This is a temp to perm position, where after 12 weeks, you'll transfer over to our client's permanent payroll.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, your duties will include:

• Transporting livestock from farm to factory
• Completing defect reports
• Weighing trailers accurately
• Driving in accordance with Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations

In return, the Class 1 HGV Driver can expect:

• Competitive hourly rate of �15.39 per hour
• Holiday pay accrued in addition to the above rate
• Full time hours
• Monday to Sunday operation
• Various shift start times
• Alternating shift pattern (Sunday to Thursday and then Monday to Friday)

Class 1 HGV Driver Requirements:

• Category CE entitlement on your UK driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Minimum of 2 years Class 1 HGV driving experience

The successful Class 1 HGV Driver will be required to go through animal welfare training - this is provided and paid for by our client.
