Hgv 2 Driver

Top Gear Recruitment Solutions are looking for an experienced HGV2 driver to work along side one of our well established clients based in Fenton, this will be a temp-perm position with an immediate start.�
If you are looking for a new position we are currently looking for drivers to work on our 10:00am - 20:00pm shift.�

Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake daily checks of the vehicle as detailed on Defect Report.

- To successfully complete all collections that may be needed for the day�

- To obtain proof of collection�from each customer by obtaining a signature on Hand-held terminal.

- To label collected freight on return to the depot.�

- To park vehicle for the evening and report any problems via completion of vehicle Defect Report.

- To retain Tachograph readings and provide to manager in accordance with Department of Transport requirements.
Requirements:
- You will have previous experience of driving Curtain Side /Tail Lift vehicles.

- Category C license with no more than 6 points.

- Current Drivers CPC

- Knowledge of Staffordshire / West Midlands postcode areas. WV & WS.

- Map reading skills.

- Knowledge of Working Time Regulations and current road traffic legislation applicable to LGV Drivers.

-� Minumum of two years HGV experience�
