Job Overview

Corr Recruitment are seeking Class 2 drivers for our client based in Chepstow. for multi-drop delivery around Wales, Southwest and the Midlands. 0500 starts - 9hr shift with possible overtime. �16.26 p/hr.

Duties

• Operate and drive lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.


• 0500 start times.


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.


• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.


• Adhere to all safety protocols while on the road and during loading/unloading processes.


• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence (C or C+E) with a clean driving record (no more than 6 pts).


• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with refrigeration experience.


• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.


• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.


• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy items when necessary.


• Safety boots, High Viz, Dark Plain Clothing.
