HGV Class 1 Driver (Part Time)

Note: This job is for Kenect Recruitment but will take place at a client's worksite (CV3 4PB).

We're looking for someone who can commute to Coventry, who is available to work between Fridays and Mondays each week for ongoing part-time driving work.

Shift Patterns:

Part-time, meaning 2-4 shifts per week between Friday and Monday only, with start times ranging between:

• 05.00 am - 14.00 pm
• 19.00 pm - 23.00 pm

Salary:

£15.68 - £18.70 per hour - plus holiday pay (accrued at a rate of 12.07%)

As a Kenect Recruitment Class 1 Driver, you'll be passionate about high-quality customer service for our valued client and their customers.

Typical responsibilities shall include:

• National trunking deliveries to RDC's (no handball)
• Delivering all items accurately within an agreed timescale
• Curtain-sider trailers
• Possible collection on return journey
• Friday - Monday shifts each week
• £15.68 - £18.70 per hour - guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift
• Average shift length around 10 hours

Requirements:

• Must have held a valid UK LGV1 licence for a minimum of 12 months
• Must be able to commute to Coventry for at least 4 shifts per week (including weekends)
• Must have no more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
• Must be willing to undergo a paid induction prior to starting first shift
