Hgv Class 1 Driver

Recruitment Solutions are currently working with an industry leading business, due to continued growth we are looking for a number of Class 1 drivers to work on the evening / night on a permanent basis. This role is purely trunking from depot to depot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the vehicle to transport goods to designated locations


• Assist in loading & unloading of goods


• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, delivery protocols and customer service

Candidate Expectations:

• Valid & indate CPC


• No more than 6 points on licence


• Phsically fit and able, as there is some manual work involved in loading / unloading


• Minimum 1 years time spent experience as a Class 1 driver

Working Days, Hours & Salary:

• Depot is CLOSED ON SATURDAYS


• 5 out of the other 6 days worked


• �17.84 per hour basic


• �22 per hour overtime


• IF YOU WORK A MINIMUM OF 4 HOURS BETWEEN 22:00 - 06:00 YOUR BASIC RATE WILL BE �20.52


• Working hours - afternoon / night shifts, dependant on start times


• 1 hour break (paid)
