HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver��required for a position with our well-established client in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The role is a Monday to Friday�position with weekend work also available. The start time will be between�03:00am and 08.00am�and will usually be between 10-12 hour days. Evening work is also available with start times between 12.00pm and 19.00pm starts.�

Job role will include:

• Either store deliveries or RDC work�


• 10-12 hour shifts - 45-50�hours per week


• Ensuring goods are safely secured


• Self�tipping cages on store deliveries


• Making all deliveries with care and attention not to damage the produce


• Completing vehicle defect and maintaining logs


• Completing delivery paperwork

The Candidate:

• A valid full category cat C+E�licence


• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 driving experience�


• Demonstrate excellent communication skills


• Work well with others as part of a team


• Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail


• Must have a current CPC and Digi card


• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
