HGV Class 1 Driver

Job description p 365 people are currently seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client at Evesham. /p p Call on 01905 672 277 or apply online. /p p They are recognised as a leading distributor of fresh and chilled products to supermarket RDC's and NDC's throughout the UK. /p p The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting temperature controlled goods over long distances in a timely and safe manner. /p p RDC and NDC delivery experience desirable /p p Duties: /p p -Drivers will be expected to back on to a loading bay to be unloaded br - Safely operate HGV to transport goods to various locations br - Load and unload cargo following safety procedures br - Follow routes and meet delivery schedules br - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues br - Maintain accurate driving logs br - Adhere to UK road regulations and company policies /p p Collections are also included at times. /p p NO HANDBALL /p p Skills: br - Proven experience as a HGV driver br - Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly br - Excellent organisational and time management skills br - Strong communication and customer service skills /p p To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role you must have the following; /p p - HGV C+E Licence for a minimum of 6 months /p p - Full CPC /p p - Digital Tacho Card /p p -Right to work documents /p p - Proof of address /p p - Proof of NI number /p p - Previous chilled distribution experience /p p Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 drivers who can start between 06:00 - 11:00 for day shifts and 16:00 - 23:00 for night shifts /p p Pay rate Class 1 driver : /p p Monday to Friday Days £165 per shift /p p Monday to Friday Nights £175per shift /p p Saturday day £182 per shift /p p Sunday day £190 per shift /p p Saturday night £190 per shift /p p Sunday night £198 per shift /p p 365 People ltd is acting as an employment business /p p This job is a temporary role, 365 PEOPLE is acting as the employment business. /p p Whilst we aim to respond to all applicants individually, due to high demand, this is not always practicable.
