HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a reliable HGV 1 Driver to start working for our client ASAP.
Hours & Salary
Day shift available (5am - 7am & 7am - 10am start times)
Night shift available
£16.00 per hour DOE
Monday - Friday working
Weekends may be available
Ad hoc hours
Christmas hours
Temporary / permanent hours
Must be willing to drive Class 2 and Van if Class 1 not needed on odd days
Responsibilities
Responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery according to schedule.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transport.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, road conduct, and customer service.
Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class.
Familiarity with delivery driving practices and logistics operations.
Must Have at least 6 month HGV 1 driving experience
