HGV Class 1 Driver

£28,541 to £33,578 per annum
Location: Chelmsford
Working Style: Operational field-based worker
The Opportunity
We are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver to manage the collection, transportation, and tipping of Roll on Roll off (RoRo) containers across 21 recycling centres throughout the county.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving various types of vehicles, ensuring that all loads are secure and safe at all times. You will complete a variety of tasks as directed by management and supervisors, ensuring that all daily and weekly responsibilities are met efficiently and effectively.
Additionally, you will be instrumental in maintaining strong operational relationships with our contracted disposal and treatment facilities, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Please note this role require you to be part of a rolling rota which will involve weekend working.

Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
