HGV Class 1 Driver

We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for a leading logistics company at their site based in Stoke

\n

As part of the logistics Team, you will be responsible for completing HGV Class 1 Container work to Ports across the UK.

\n

Hours & Pay

\n

\n
• Monday - Friday
\n
• Start Times between 1600 - 2000
\n
• £15.75 PAYE or £17.65 including holiday pay
\n
• £18p/h Umbrella
\n
• Higher Rates for Weekend Overtime, between £17 - £22p/h
\n

\n

Job Role:

\n

\n
• Driving a HGV Class 1 Vehicle to complete container work across the UK
\n
• Moving Containers to and from ports across the UK
\n
• Making container deliveries to RDC's
\n
• Completing Vehicle checks and paperwork
\n
• Shifts between 10 - 13 Hours depending on the run details
\n

\n

Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
\n
• 12 months HGV Class 1 Driving Experience
\n
• Previous experience of container work is preferred for this role
\n
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
\n
