Challenge-trg are recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers for our client based in Belfast BT36 4BB

We are recruiting to cover Mon-Fri shift patterns for telephone communication deliveries.

There are various start times available.

Job Role

This will be store deliveries to telephone communication sites and stores.

You will be required to use a hand held scanning terminal to scan labels on cages, pallets etc - training will be given.

FLT license would be desired - some load/offloads of vehicles in the mornings - (If no FLT license then you will be required to complete a FLT course).

Elements of Class 2 multidrop when required

mixture of cages and boxes.

There will be a full days assessment you will be required to attend.

Rotas available

Monday to Friday

Start times 06:15 - 14:15 daily

Rates

Days �19.83

Overtime �27.04

What the HGV Class 1 driver can expect:

Weekly Pay

Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours

Hourly Pay

24-hour assistance night operation team

The Requirements from the HGV Class 1 Driver

  • A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
  • A valid Drivers CPC Card
  • A digital tachograph card
  • A full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Reliable and excellent time keeping
  • Flexible with start times & working days
