HGV Class 1 Driver

Note: This job is for Kenect Recruitment but will take place at a client's worksite (B76 9EE).

A minimum of 2 years HGV1 experience required before applying.

"We're looking for someone who can commute to Curdworth, who is available to work full time via agency each week for ongoing long-term driving work.

The company:

Our client founded in 1995, is the UK's largest privately owned freight and parcel network that specialises in delivering large and non-standard freight. They offer a variety of delivery services, including storage and distribution.

Shift patterns:

Our client offers various shift start times to suit your preference:

• 10.00 am Monday to Friday
• 12.00 pm Monday to Friday
• 14.00 pm Monday to Friday
• 03.00 am Tuesday to Saturday
• Shift lengths are between 8-11 hours
• 5 shifts per week and ongoing long-term

Pay rates:

• Monday to Friday = �15.50 per hour
• Weekends = �17.50 per hour
• All rates are PAYE and holiday pay will be accrued @ 12.07%
• You will be guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours per shift

About the role:

• Local and national delivery and collection work
• Normally 2-3 stops per shift
• Stopping at fulfilment centres and NDC's
• Curtain-sider trailers
• Palletised goods (no handball)

Requirements:

• Must hold a UK class 1 C+E licence for a minimum of 2 years
• Must have no more than 6 points for minor offences
• No DR10 / IN10 disqualifications
