HGV Class 1 Driver

Ongoing weekend shifts for Class 1 Drivers based in Glastonbury.

We are currently looking for multiple HGV 1 Drivers to cover ongoing weekend shifts in Glastonbury. You will be driving a Class 1 vehicle completing 1 to 3 drops, with no handball! Starting at 4pm a typical shift could be up to 9 hours.
You will need to check the load is secure, complete vehicle checks and complete paperwork. However, no handball and no heavy lifting will be involved as the truck is loaded and unloaded for you.

Shifts are available on Saturdays and Sundays, you have the choice of covering 1 day or both.

This is a great opportunity for ongoing Class 1 / HGV 1 weekend work, with the possibility of leading to a permanent role, working with a great team and a company who value their employees.

Hours and pay

• Working Saturday and/or Sunday.


• Usually starting at 4pm and working 9 hours a shift.


• �20 per hour on Saturday.


• �21 per hour on Sunday.


• Weekly paid every Friday.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence, with category C+E.


• Valid Tacho and CPC.


• Safety boots and high viz.


• An understanding of health and safety.
