HGV Class 1 Drivers

Are you a experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver looking for a long-term contract? Look no further!

CareerLink are recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight client based in YO11 3TX radius.

This role would be undertaking the role of conducting at least 2 drops per day. You would be required to deliever a variety of products to clients.

This role would be offering both days and night shifts and this would be offering 4 days on and 4 days off.

The available shifts are as follows;

• 4 days on and 4 days off (days rotating)
• 4 nights on and 4 nights off (nights rotating)
• Tuesday - Saturday (Days and Nights)
• Monday - Friday (Days and Nights)

Job duties include;

• Curtain - sided general haulage
• Trunking with one or two drops per day
• Delivering a variety of goods to different clients

Responsibilities;

• Conducting regular vehicle inspections according to the company policies , ensuring tyre pressure , fluid levels , safety equipments , gauges and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues using standard forms.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards to ensure timely and efficicent service to all customers.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements;

• A full HGV Class 1 driving licence , Tacho and DQC
• A clean driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points
• Trunking experience would be ideal however is not desired
