HGV Class 1 Drivers

CareerLink have a very exciting new opportunity for all HGV Class 1 drivers looking for a new venture! We are recruiting for a well-established Healthcare Clients based in Avonmouth.

We are searching for some highly reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to undertake the role of making a number of multi-drop deliveries to high street retail stores and retail parks.

You would be required to work on a Monday - Friday basis with Saturday overtime available , there can also be a offer of a Tuesday - Saturday working week.

The start times would vary from 01:30am - 06:00am , you would need to be flexiable for these kind of start times.

The pay rates are as follows;

Monday - Friday - Days - £19.00 per hour

Monday - Friday - Overtime after 42 hours - £28.50 per hour

Monday - Friday - Nights - £20.00 per hour

Monday - Friday - Overtime after 42 hours - £30.00 per hour

Saturday - All hours - £21.00 per hour

Sunday - All Hours - £22.00 per hour

Job Duties Included;

• Making 1-6 multi-drop deliveries to high-street retails stores and retail parks
• All items will be stocked on dollies , cages and pallets and you may be required to load and unload trailers
• Conducting some vehicle checks and reporting any vehicle maintenance
• Adhering to all road safety and speed regulations

Requirements for the role;

• A full HGV Class 1 driving licence , Tacho and DQC
• A clean driving licence however a maximum of 6 points will be accepted
• Multi-drop experience would be ideal however not essential
• Must have some sort of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Must flexiable to drive a Class 1 and Class 2 lorry as this job will contain both
• Must be happy to attend a assessment
• Must be able to start ASAP
