HGV Class 1 Driving Role

CareerLink have a very exciting new opportunity which has become available for all you HGV Class 1 drivers looking for work?

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established and friendly healthcare clients based in Beeston/Nottinghamshire.

We are looking for some highly reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to undertake the role of driving a class 1 vehicle making a number of multi-drop deliveries to different retail and high street retail points in the Nottinghamshire area.

All delivery points will have been risk assessed and you would be trained on how to make a safe delivery within a pre-allocated time window.

All products would be stored on pallets or cages and you will make the delivery via a loading bay or a tail lift.

You would be required to work any 5 days over 7 which means working a Saturday sometimes. You must be willing to work Saturdays.

You are paid for a minimum of 8 hours and overtime is paid anything worked after 48 hours.

The pay rates are as follows;

• Monday - Friday - Days - £17.00 per hour
• Monday - Friday - Nights - £18.00 per hour
• Saturday - All Hours - £21.00 per hour
• Sunday - All Hours - £22.00 per hour

To be considered for the role you must have the following;

• A full HGV Class 1 driving licence , tacho and driving qualification card
• A minimum of 3 penalty points on driving licence (anything more than three months will be reviewed)
• Ideally a minimum of 3 months experience in Class 1 driving would be ideal (anything less will be reviewed)
• Multi-drop experience would be ideal however it is not essential as training is provided.
