HGV Class 1 HIAB

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver with HIAB (Night Shifts, 4 on 4 off)
Location: Huntingdon
Hourly rate: £21.06ph plus overtime at £28.07ph
We are looking for a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with HIAB to join our team in Huntingdon. This is a night shift position with a 4 on, 4 off rota, offering a competitive salary.
As a Class 1 Driver with HIAB, you will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances, ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and on time. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of operations, with a focus on vehicle checks, load security, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport goods across various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
• Observe driver hours and tachograph regulations, maintaining accurate records.
• Conduct routine checks on company trucks and trailers to ensure they are roadworthy.
• Ensure all loads are correctly secured using appropriate restraints.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
• In-date HIAB licence is essential.
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience working with HIAB/Lorry Loaders.
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• In-date Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Driver CPC.
