Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Trunk Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, and will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities
Operate Trunk vehicles to transport goods to various locations as per delivery schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Loading is done on site and no handballing, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transit.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry to uphold company standards.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for HGV Class 1 operation.
