Position; CLASS 2 DRIVER

Location; Abingdon

Salary; £15.50 - £16.00 ph

Our client based in Abingdon is looking for a Temporary to Permanent HGV Class 2 driver to join their team assisting customers with the safe transit of their goods to personal locations and businessess.

The Role;
You will work with a team of drivers and porters to ensure the safe transit of peoples personal items to various destinations

Full Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 points on your licence

Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone

Working within a team of 2 to ensure safe delivery and drop off
Safe manual handling of goods, on and off the vehicle.

Hours of work are generally from 6/7am each morning depending on work required for the day.
This is a temporary to permanent position and applicants should apply with this in mind.

About You;

Class 2 Licence with a minimum of 6 months experience.
Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
Self-motivated team player
Good communication skills
Able to complete lifting of heavy materials
