Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Craigavon, Northern Ireland
Position Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of driving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle for the delivery of goods.
• Transport goods to various locations within designated delivery routes.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in line with health and safety regulations.
• Complete pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays encountered.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo.
• Adhere to road safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers during deliveries.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the appropriate manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.

Key Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving license.
• Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• A good understanding of road safety and driving regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar HGV driving role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage physical demands, including lifting and loading goods.
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
