HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

e are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver for a full time position.

The hourly pay rate during the temp to perm period will be £20.73 (please note: this rate is inclusive of holiday pay ie £18.50 basic + £2.23 Holiday pay which must be taken separately on actual days off)

Main purpose of role:

- You will be carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building materials and other products within a local radius.

Responsibilities:

- Experience of delivering building materials with multiple and varied drops

- To load and unload vehicle and maintain safety and security of load at all times.

- Provide customers with the highest level of service.

- To plan and adapt routes.

- To comply with all health and safety requirements in depot, on road and at customers premises.

You will need to have:

- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement for at least 2 years

- A current Brick Grab + Remote HIAB ticket / qualification (ALLMI, RTITB, ITTSAR accreditation is preferable)

- At least 12 months experience working as a Class 2 HIAB Driver for a builders merchant or equivalent business
