HGV Class 2 Night Driver (immediate start)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on nights.

Hours:�Working 5 shifts out of 7 shifts across Monday to Sunday. Shift starts from 21:00pm

Pay Rate:��14.83 per hour PAYE.

Location:�Swindon, SN3

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

� Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units & conducting collections.

� Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.

� Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

� Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle.

� Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.

� Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful.

Requirements:

� Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

� Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

� No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

� Full understanding of WTD legislation.

� Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.

� Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

� Excellent communication skills.

� A safety-first mindset.
