HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Sweeper Drivers to join the team.

Hours:�Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.

Pay Rate:��14.00 per hour PAYE.

Location:�Barnsley, S75.

Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

The Role

� Operate street sweeping vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

� Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

� Navigate designated routes while adhering to established schedules.

� Perform routine maintenance tasks on sweeping equipment as needed.

� Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.

� Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

Requirements

� Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

� Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

� No more than 3 points on licence (minor offences only).

� Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

� Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.

� Be prepared to work away from home in paid accommodation as required.

� Excellent communication skills.

� A safety-first mindset.
