Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders. br We are currently looking for an Internal HGV Class 2 Driver in the Glasgow area to support our growing Operations Team, this is a fantastic role that will allow the successful candidate to up skill and develop through the company, you will find more details below. br Benefits br A competitive basic salary br Health and well-being related benefits br A fantastic pension scheme br Key Responsibilities br Transport stock by driving company vehicles and meet delivery deadlines br Comply with all driving and Road Transport legislation to ensure loads are delivered in a safe and legal manner br Comply with Health and Safety requirements in the depot, on the road, at customers’ sites to ensure loading and unloading stock is carried out in a safe and secure environment br Communicate with the customer on-site, as a company representative, and complete all paperwork to validate accuracy of delivery and collection br Feedback to hire desk, delivery or collection, issues affecting customer service to enable resolution br Carry out vehicle checks, and follow procedures to rectify faults found to ensure vehicle is safe and legal br What You Need br Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) br Driving licence class C br Experience working with LGVs br Use of mobile phones and apps br Capable of Manual Handling i.e. strapping and securing loads br Physically fit to lift / move materials and move in and out of vehicles in a construction site environment br Hydraulics experience preferred but not essential br If you are interested in this position please click apply. br #INDLP br #LI-PROMO
