Class 1 Driver br br Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely. br br Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customer, providing a first class service with our team in Larkhall. br br What You Really Want To Know: br br Salary: £33,273.68 Per Annum / £15.99 Per Hour br Shift Pattern: Week 1 Sunday to Thursday 23:00-08:30 / Week 2 Monday to Friday 03:00-11:30 br 40 Hours Per Week Basic br The holiday allowance is 28 days inclusive of bank holidays br Monthly Pay br Parking Onsite br HGV Class 1 Driver Duties: br br General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations. br Delivering product on behalf of MDS and their customer br Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided) br Assisting with loading and unloading br Use of moffett truck (night shift) br HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements: br br A full UK C+E licence br 12 months previous class 1 driving experience br Excellent driving skills br No more than 6 points on your licence br No previous disqualifications br Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations br BENEFITS br br Pension Scheme br Cycle2Work scheme br Employee Assistance Program br SPIRIT Awards - Peer to Peer recognition br INCLUSION br br Menzies Distribution is committed to creating a fair and inclusive environment where employees feel safe, proud and valued.
