Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and other fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Conduct MOT preparation and testing to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Work collaboratively with the fleet management team to ensure timely availability of vehicles.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workshop.
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a similar role.
- A valid HGV Class 1 or 2 license (preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with a solid understanding of vehicle systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Competitive hourly rate of �19.50 per hour
