**REME or Army Reserve personnel - HGV Technician opportunity**

**Training will be provided to up skill to a HGV technician**

An exclusive opportunity has arisen to join our esteemed client in Catterick as an HGV Technician. We are seeking candidates who are fully qualified HGV technician or hold a light vehicle technician qualification in the Catterick area.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with HGVs.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Carry out MOT inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure efficient work flow and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications:

• Experience as an HGV Technician or equivalent role.
• REME or Army Reserve background preferred.
• Light vehicle technician qualification or fully qualified HGV technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HGV systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
