HGV Trailer Technician - Marchington - Permanent Role - Time-Served Technicians Accepted

Salary: £39,520 PA. Overtime is available and paid at a time and a half on Saturday between 0700 and 1100.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday
• Week 1: 0600 to 1400
• Week 2: 1400 to 2200

Example OTE (based on £19ph & working x2 Saturdays per month, 7am-11am at time and a half): £42,256

Silver Arrow is currently recruiting for a HGV Trailer Technician to work for our client based in Marchington (Uttoxeter) on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company, with excellent working conditions and benefits.

The Role:

• To Inspect and maintain HGV Trailer Fleet to comply with Legal & Company standards.
• Prepare trailers for MOT Testing.
• To record trailer defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each trailer.
• Repair Minor Accident Damage.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness

Skills & Experience Required for The Job:

• Commercial experience on HGV Trailers is essential.
• City & Guilds Level 3, in a related sector (desirable)
• Working on own initiative
• Problem-solving ability (adapting to new situations)
• Independence/self-responsibility
• Team player
