HGV1 Driver - Edinburgh

Manpower are recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers for one of prestigious clients in Leith.

Shifts will be Monday - Friday 06:00 AM starts you will be making deliveries across the central belt & the borders, some shifts you will be accompanied with a drivers mate to help with the deliveries.

For your first 3/4 weeks you will be driving their class C Vehicle before being trained and assessed to drive their C+E tanker vehicles.
This is a temporary to permanent position and an excellent opportunity for someone to take on a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Rate - PAYE �14.00 - 8 Hours minimum Guaranteed each day for class C.
Rate - PAYE �16.00 - 8 Hours minimum Guarantied each day for class C+E

Key Requirements:

• CAT C+E Driving Licence, Valid CPC & Tacho
• You will be delivering to outdoor sites mainly so an aspect of the work will be outside in all weather conditions
• Working as part of a team is a must so we are looking for someone who is eager to engage with others to get the task at hand done.
• Completing vehicle checks before and after shift
• Adhering to Working Time Regulations
• Excellent customer skills
