Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and support a fantastic primary school in Ripley, Derbyshire. This part-time role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners, working three days a week from Tuesday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education
- Leading small group sessions and interventions
- Assisting in planning and preparing learning materials
- Providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs
- Encouraging and fostering a positive learning environment
- Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
- Collaborating with staff and parents to support student progress
Requirements:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for education and making a difference in students' lives
