Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Supply Desk are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Southampton

Starting September 2024

Pay: £80 - £85 per day

Hours: 08:30  - 15:30 Full time Monday - Friday 

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and trained HLTA seeking a new role? Could you work flexibly across year groups covering PPA? Are you looking to obtain an HLTA qualification after obtaining a CACHE level 3 - this school are prepared to train an able teaching assistant to take this role.

Job Description:

• Working across the primary phase
• Supporting whole class with Guided Reading, Maths and English, phonics and general classroom support
• Occasionally leading lessons and covering PPA
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
• Pay: Daily Rate (£80-£85)
• Location: Southampton area
• Start Date: September 2024
• Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
• Hours: Full time

Individual Profile:

• Good subject knowledge required
• HLTA certification or a CACHE level 3 qualification
• Must have good classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Intervention experience preferred
