Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school located in a beautiful, leafy area of Stockport (SK4).

Position Details:

• Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Location: Primary School in Stockport (SK4)
• Start Date: September 2024
• Working Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
• Assist with lesson planning and preparation
• Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover
• Handle limited marking responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must hold a Level 4 teaching assistant qualification or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
