Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Vetro Education is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead the support for an SEN base in large Primary school based in the centre of the City of Cardiff. This is a full-time position that will start in September 2024 for the new academic year.

• Location: Cardiff, City Centre

• Pay: £90.50 (Minimum) per day - 6.5 hours per day

• Start date - New Academic Year - September 2024

The successful HLTA will be instrumental in the progression and development of the student's education and well-being in the SEN Base within the school.

The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant will possess:

• A keen interest in working with children
• Experience (paid or voluntary) working with Children and/or in the care sector
• Open to training and development
• Proactive work ethic
• A good understanding of special educational needs
• The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
• A patient and understanding attitude
• The ability to work as part of a team
