Role Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: Dagenham
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £115 - £130 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time only)
Contract Type: Long Term
Our Special school for KS2 to KS4, is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). Our curriculum is based on the right to "Learn, Grow, and Thrive." We believe in the potential of every child and provide the necessary support for their success.
As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will support the academic and pastoral development of our pupils. We seek an innovative, creative, and resilient individual with experience in either special or mainstream education. The role includes a timetabled teaching requirement.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:
Support learning and development in a diverse environment.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Contribute to our pupils' academic and personal growth.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Our Ideal Candidate:
Experience in special or mainstream education.
Ability to work with a diverse range of pupils.
Innovative and creative approach to teaching.
Strong resilience and commitment to pupil development.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. You will have a safeguarding responsibility if appointed in this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role.
The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
