Higher Level Teaching Assistant Wanted


Job Purpose:


To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short-term for whole classes. The HLTA will also monitor pupils and assess, record, and report on their progress

  • Location: Ely, Cardiff
  • Pay: £95.50 - £100.00 per day - 6.5 hours per day
  • Start date - November 2024


The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant Wanted will possess:

  • HLTA Training
  • A keen interest in working with children
  • Experience (paid or voluntary) working with Children and/or in the care sector
  • Open to training and development
  • Proactive work ethic
  • A good understanding of special educational needs
  • The ability to provide a range of support to pupils
  • A patient and understanding attitude
  • The ability to work as part of a team
