A lovely small school in Portsmouth is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support Key Stage 2 learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting students with ASD to reach their full potential-academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your key responsibilities as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant include:
Providing 1:1 and group interventions for learners with ASD
Supporting students at Key Stage 2 both in and out of the classroom
Implementing individualised learning plans alongside the class teacher and SENCO
Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour
- Assisting with personal care tasks where necessary#####/>
Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals
