Highway Design & Highway Maintenance Engineers

Were currently seeking a Highway Design Engineer on a contract basis to join their team. Offering a dynamic work environment involved in the design and maintenance of essential transport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing highway projects from inception to completion
• Preparing detailed technical reports and technical specifications
• Ensuring all projects comply with relevant health and safety standards
• Collaborating with other engineers, planners, and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conducting site visits and assessments as required
• Utilising highway design software and tools to develop efficient solutions
• Providing technical support and advice throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and advancements

Job Requirements:

• Experience in highway design
• Proficiency with highway design software and relevant modelling tools
• Strong understanding of highway engineering principles and practices
• Ability to prepare and review technical specifications and reports
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
