Highway Supervisor-
Salary: £35,000-£45,000
Reports to:Contracts Manager
The role-
·Front-line responsibility for service delivery of routine maintenance works, winter maintenance and emergency response activities including standby duties as required.
·To produce weekly cost reports.
·To manage the training and development of operative staff.
·To actively promote and use the bespoke software available to deliver the service requirements.
·Managing the activity of individual teams and helping to run the operations within the area. Helping to meet all requirements of the H&S standards and providing the highest quality of service to the client.
Responsibilities-
·Productivity and KPI targets met in line with annual objectives
·Cost and value reporting carried out in line with business objectives
·Accurate and timely reporting from all systems in line with business efficiency
·Plant and vehicle management improving with vehicle damage costs reduced to negligible levels.
·Safety performance measures in line with safety objectives and statutory reporting
·Improving communications between teams and management through the development of the Toolbox Talk Programme
