Highways Site Agent

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Agent / Site Manager on behalf of a�thriving�civil engineering tier 1 main contractor to work on a large civil engineering project in East Yorkshire initially - further work secured to follow in West, South & East Yorkshire providing plenty of opportunity.

This contractor are one of the largest in the UK and deliver a host of infrastructure works across North of England - with Yorkshire being a particular area of growth currently. An ever-growing�work pipeline made up of over �700m worth of projects is in effect in the region, meaning endless opportunities for the people joining the business now at this level. A strong & increasing presence in Yorkshire!

Projects consist of major highways, public realm developments, A road infrastructure & much more. Involving heavy civils, structures packages, deep drainage & large road construction. Project values from: �5m to �100m+.

Duties as Site Agent:

• Manage site team and supply chain to deliver projects to�quality targets and deadlines


• Writing &�updating RAMS


• Undertaking daily site paperwork


• Producing programmes & permits


• Progress meetings


• Managing site including sub-contractors to ensure quality and H&S standards are delivered


• Regular updating of construction phase plans


• Procurement for materials


• Promoting sustainable solutions for projects


• Provide reports for projects - costs, budgets, progress etc.

Experience Required as Site Agent:

• Must have�experience as�Site Agent�/ Site Manager on civil engineering schemes for a large main contractor


• Must have experience delivering: highways, structures & heavy infrastructure packages


• Must hold: CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid�and full driving license


• Beneficial: HNC/HND or Degree in relevant subject, Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator & Appointed Persons�etc.

Remuneration:

On offer is a salary of up to��60,000 (dependant on experience) plus...
