Hire Controller

My very well established client provides premium plant hire products and solutions to a diverse customer base, backed by industry-leading customer service.

We are seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join a dynamic hire desk team and support an oustanding growing business. In this key role, you will develop strong relationships with customers to meet their order needs and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You should have a strong work ethic, the ability to think on your feet, work independently, and a great sense of humour but also remain professional at all times!

My client offers systems training, prior experience in the hire industry is essential so please only apply if you have the requirements needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle customer orders and enquiries via phone and email professionally.
• Accurately input order and collection data.
• Co-ordinate with our service and transport teams to ensure plant availability.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and act as a helpful point of contact for depot inquiries.
• Negotiate costs with suppliers.

Candidate Requirements:

• Team player
• Friendly and professional telephone manner
• Strong organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Committed to learning and development
• Previous experience in the hire industry
• Own transport is essential for commuting to our depot BR2

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm
