About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:




  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective history lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.

  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on students' progress, helping them to reach their full potential.

  • Contribute to curriculum planning and development, aligning lessons with school and curriculum standards.

  • Collaborate with faculty to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Engage in professional development to stay current with educational practices and resources.



Requirements:




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Degree in History or a related field.

  • Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level (KS3, KS4, and/or KS5 preferred).

  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Flexibility to work on either a contract or permanent basis, as per your preference.
