This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start date.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge in History and the ability to convey it enthusiastically.
- Confidence in setting out clear expectations, setting high standards of behaviour, learning and promoting an engaging learning environment.
- Proficiency in evaluating student performance and providing verbal feedback in lessons.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school's development.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons that ignite a passion for the past in students of all abilities, ensuring all students can access and engage with the curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback to students and parents.
- Offer your support to students and families who require additional guidance.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and promote academic achievement.
- Maintain discipline through employing various classroom management techniques in line with the school's behaviour management policy.
