Yes? Randstad Education is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic History Teacher. The successful candidate should have a passion and ambition to develop as a teacher and be an integral member of a team who wish to raise the aspirations and achievements of our students.

This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start date.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge in History and the ability to convey it enthusiastically.
• Confidence in setting out clear expectations, setting high standards of behaviour, learning and promoting an engaging learning environment.
• Proficiency in evaluating student performance and providing verbal feedback in lessons.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school's development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons that ignite a passion for the past in students of all abilities, ensuring all students can access and engage with the curriculum.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing effective feedback to students and parents.
• Offer your support to students and families who require additional guidance.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and promote academic achievement.
• Maintain discipline through employing various classroom management techniques in line with the school's behaviour management policy.
