Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Start Date: September 2024

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive primary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team in Kettering on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering lessons in the primary school classroom environment
  • Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Leading small group interventions and providing targeted support to students
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources and materials

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification (Level 4 TA) or substantial experience as an HLTA in a primary school setting
  • Proven ability to cover lessons and manage a classroom effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student achievement
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the school community
