We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support our teaching staff and contribute to the learning and development of our students. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, provide individual support to students, and cover classes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons under the direction and supervision of teaching staff


• Support students individually and in small groups to enhance learning


• Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress


• Cover classes in the absence of the teacher


• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively


• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support individual education plans (IEPs)


• Prepare and maintain classroom resources and learning materials


• Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN)


• Participate in school activities and events

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience


• Previous experience working in a school environment


• Strong understanding of the national curriculum


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• A commitment to the wellbeing and development of all students
