Role Overview: They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their vibrant team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their teaching staff and enhancing the educational experience of their students. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, ensuring all students are supported in their learning.
• Work closely with teachers to provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, including those with special educational needs.
• Lead classroom activities and manage the classroom environment in the absence of the teacher.
• Support the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback and reports as required.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting high standards of behaviour and engagement.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.

Essential Criteria:

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience working in a school setting, preferably within the primary or secondary phase.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
• A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
• Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle due to the location on the school.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working with students with special educational needs.
• First Aid qualification.
